 My thoughts:

I received a physical copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
This book was rather an enjoyable book, it was a light and fluffy read.
I did not expect to like it as much as I did.
The writing style was easy to understand. It was very clear.
The storyline on a whole was really heart-warming.
The main character Jess is amusing. She told the story well. She has great friends, and throughout this book learns to appreciate her life more. Not only that, but it even had myself wanting to appreciate my own life.
The angel of death - Darren - was a very like-able character. He was very forgiving and understanding towards Jess, and they had a great connection.
I love the fact that Jess ends up being a better person by helping some people and thinking of others.
The front cover is great because it pretty much descries everything that the story is about. You have the gates of heaven, and even a bit of hilarity with the shoes by the gates.
The story is written in first person, and the chapters are a nice decent length.
The beginning of the book had me curious about what was going to happen with Jess, and the ending was just great. It was a perfect ending to a perfect story.
In the end I just couldn't fault this book, and ended up giving it five stars.
If you like stories about appreciating life, friendships and really quick reads, then this is for you. I definitely recommend this book.
