More Than We Can Tell by
Brigid Kemmerer

Summary

Rev Fletcher is battling the demons of his past. But with loving adoptive parents by his side, he’s managed to keep them at bay...until he gets a letter from his abusive father and the trauma of his childhood comes hurtling back.

Emma Blue spends her time perfecting the computer game she built from scratch, rather than facing her parents’ crumbling marriage. She can solve any problem with the right code, but when an online troll’s harassment escalates, she’s truly afraid.

When Rev and Emma meet, they both long to lift the burden of their secrets and bond instantly over their shared turmoil. But when their situations turn dangerous, their trust in each other will be tested in ways they never expected. This must-read story will once again have readers falling for Brigid Kemmerer’s emotional storytelling.

My Review

More Than We Can Tell definitely has the vibe of Letters to the Lost, which I read and thought was amazing.
I love the fact that Declan has a return in this book. As this is a spin off from Letters to the Lost. Letters to the Lost is about Declan and Juliet's story, More Than We Can Tell is Rev and Emma's story.
When reading this book, Rev comes across as a dark and mysterious character. We are teased about his past, and we are eventually told, and we can't help but feel sorry for him.
Emma is a character I can totally relate to with the gaming.
I love how these two characters come together to help each other with their problems, and you can't help but feel they need each other.
I liked how the foster kid Matthew was very strange and secretive too.
This book kept me on my toes as I didn't know what was going to happen, and I enjoyed when Rev and Emma met up.
I love Brigid's stories and her writing just draws me in.
I'm definitely going to be reading her other books to come as she has become a close favourite of mine.
If you enjoy deep contemporaries, then I definitely recommend this one.

Thank you for reading this post.
A massive thank you to Faye for letting me be a part of this tour.
